Customer Appreciation Night FREE ARTBOOKING Project - Friday, 9th August 7PM

Hi All -

Here is the FREE Artbooking project I created to celebrate our Customer Appreciation and Open House night!  I adore the way this one came out and hope you'll be able to join me so YOU can make this project for FREE!

If you aren't local to me or you have vacation plans and just can't make it, I'll be doing a virtual Customer Appreciation and Open House online after the 9th.  I'll do a video run down of workshops coming up and do a quick scan of some of the artwork shown.  Best part?  You will be eligible for all the Customer Appreciation and Open House specials that I have going on for the party!  Click HERE to read all about the Customer Appreciation specials.
I'll extend the order deadline until the 19th of August for online viewers.  That gives you about a week to ask questions and shop after I get the Virtual Customer Appreciation and Open House party up on You Tube.  In order to get your FREE SHIPPING on orders of $100 or more, you'll need to place the order directly through me by calling me or e-mailing me at Paige@Stampologist.com.  The order system will charge you for shipping so I'll need to place the order for you.  You can place your order any time between now and the 19th to get in on the specials.

I hope you'll be able to make in on the 9th but if not, be sure to follow this blog by e-mail or Like me on Facebook by clicking HERE in order to get notification of the Virtual Open House going live!

Stay crafty my friends!

Cutting your stamps apart feels so naughty - Bumble Bee card with CTMH Buzz and Bumble and Quick Cards Bumble Bee

Here is a sweet little bee card made with our Buzz and Bumble paper pack and our $6.95 A sized Quick Card Bumble Bee stamp set.

If you look at the actual stamp image below you'll notice I didn't use the sentiment that is attached to the stamp.  Hold your breath and get ready for this - I sometimes CUT my stamps APART.  Eeek - I know.  It does feel somewhat "naughty" when I do it but I use a pair of our extra sharp microtip scissors and make sure its a stamp that can be cut easily with space between pieces.  Sometimes I just know I'll use a stamp more if its separated than if all the pieces are together.

I'm entering this in our Heart2Heart Creature Feature challenge this week as a bonus submission!  You have all month to submit for our challenges so make sure you get your critters out and get stamping!

Hugs,

Paige

Bake Me a Cake Challenge at Heart2Heart Challenges

A couple of months ago the owner of the Heart2Heart Challenges blog, Ms. Haley D. herself, asked for suggestions for upcoming challenges.  One of the things I've learned about myself over the years is that I am an idea generator, so I promptly sent in a list.  I was excited to see that Haley picked up several of my ideas for upcoming challenges including this one that I've been WAITING for - Bake Me a Cake!  Make any kind of cake/cupcake themed project and step it up by adding baker's twine, get it?  Baker's twine - tee-hee!  Sorry, my family is full of punsters and I can't resist a good one!

Mmmm...almost good enough to eat!

I've been watching the emerging sequin trend and jumped on board with a package I found in my kids art supplies a couple of weeks ago.  I've been waiting for a project to use them on and this sweet treat called out for some shaped sequins (the flower topper) and pearls!  Don't you love the mini wooden clothes pins?  Did you know that you can dye them by sponging dye inks on them?  Love the look and I just had to add a bit of our Chocolate Baker's Twine tied in a double bow.

I made a CCR file of this project to share.  The base is two cupcake shapes (one cut on reverse).  I scored the back one at the top and adhered just that section to the decorated front of the card for opening.  Here's the file if you'd like to make this cutie patootie Art Philosophy card for yourself!

I hope you'll join us this week at Heart2Heart Challenges as we bake up some fun with our Cake/Cupcake themed challenge!
