Lovely Lace in Pinks and Browns

This week's challenge at Heart2Heart is to create something with a "lace" theme.  You can use actual lace, stamped lace, lace something up, etc.  The only rule is to use some CTMH product on your finished item!

I've had the Workshop on the Go stamp from Buzz and Bumble for a while now and only just ink it up.  I try really hard to use all my stamps as they come in - partially so I feel like I'm getting my money's worth out of my supplies (that's the frugalista in me) but also because sometimes your stamps surprise you (that's the artist in me).  The bottom lace panel on this card is a stamp that comes with the Artbooking cartridge but when I inked up in brown and repeated on the small piece, it took on a whole new look to me!
I used a combination of watercolor pencils, reinker and alcohol markers to color the flowers for this one.

I hope you'll join us at Heart2Heart Challenges this week and create something "lacey" to share!  If you need to pick up a few CTMH supplies for your project, visit my online shopping site!

Stay crafty my friends!

For this month's hop I made a fun interactive YoYo Card using a snowflake design.  A couple of weeks ago I shared a video tutorial I made on this technique - to see how to make this card click HERE to watch my video!

Oh Snap! Belated Birthday Camera Card - October's FREE CCR file!

One of the many icons on our new Artbooking Cricut Cartridge is a fun camera shape used in one of the mini books.  When I saw that this week's challenge for Heart2Heart Challenges was to create a card with a shaped base, I knew this was the shape I wanted to use to create a belated b'day card with the "Oh, Snap" title on it.  I'll admit up front that I am way better at making cards than getting them in the mail on time so some belated b'day for my stash was just the thing!
I created the shaped base in Cricut Craft Room by taking two images, flipping one and welding them together at the top. The card is standard sized - 5.5x4.25" to fit into a regular envelope.
Decorated inside:

This cutie will be the free file for the month of October to anyone who purchases through me!  Place an order of any size and I'll e-mail you a copy of the CCR file set up to make a pair of these cards - cause if you are going to make them you might as well make two at the same time! This will also go into the Hostess Club CCR file drive for those lucky ladies who participate in my club - want to find out more about my club and how you can get all my files?  Click HERE.

I hope you'll join us at Heart2Heart Challenges this week and create a fun shaped card to share!  Shaking things up with a shaped base is always fun and with our Cricut Cartridges doing the heavy work, its easy as can be too!

Thanks for stopping by today!  Stay crafty my friends!
