Use Your Stash Blog Hop - June Watercolor Fun

Welcome to the June Use Your Stash Blog Hop!  This month we have been challenged to use our Watercolor mediums on a project of our choice. Today I'm sharing a bright and colorful 8x10" multimedia canvas I made for this challenge. I absolutely LOVE the way this one turned out with the watercolor shading and the bright pops of colors. It shouts summer time and is totally a "me" thing!

I stamped a bunch of flowers from our Wavy Blooms D1651 stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and then colored in with our Watercolor Pencils and some Inktense watercolor pencils all blended with our Blending Pen. All the flowers are popped with various levels of foam tape to give a nice dimensional look.

I added a couple of lines of our Gold Polka Dot Washi Tape and then stamped the sentiment directly on the canvas with Memento.  The vase is cut from Art Philosophy but modified to make it wider.  The leaves are cut from Topiary and Pear cardstock.
