April Stamp of the Month Blog Hop - Typed Note

Welcome to the Stamp of the Month Blog Hop!  Today 60+ CTMH Consultants are featuring the April SOTM Typed Note.  If you are coming here from Sarita's Blog you are on the right track!  This hop is one big circle so if you keep going you'll eventually come back here but if you do get lost along the way, a full listing of all participating blogs can be found HERE.

I just about drooled over this set when I saw it for the first time in our Annual Idea Book.  I had been wanting a typewriter stamp and the sentiments that are included cover so many occasions! I thought a secret message card would be fun to create for my daughter - she gets a lot of my creations now that she is in college and requires regular doses of happy mail.

I used our Artfully Sent Cartridge to create this pop up card by deleting the icon used on the card and writing a message with the Artfully Sent font using my Explore and a Slickwriter marker.  After the Explore wrote the message, I filled in with the Turquoise Blue Shinhan marker.  I tried my hand at shading using layers of ink on the left side and removing color on the right edge of the letters with the Colorless Blender Pen.
I combined our Yuletide Carol papers with our Seaside paper pack - love the fun pop of blue and polka dots against the vintage feel papers.  A scattering of Silver Sequins and some of our Slate Diagonal Striped Ribbon and the card front was done!
I chose thin pop dots to attach the typewriter image as I don't like the inside to be too puffy on Pop Up cards.  I prefer to add the thicker pop dots to the outside of the card instead.
As a bonus here is the Cricut Explore file to make this card using the Artfully Sent cartridge!

You can get this stamp set for just $5 with any $50 order during the month of April 2015 - take advantage of our upcoming Deal A Day campaign and get some seriously discounted Grab Bags full of current and discontinued products along with the BRAND NEW products from our Seasonal Expressions 2 Idea Book that is live tomorrow AND grab this fabulous stamp for just $5!

Love your card Paige! Not a paper combination I would think to use together but it works so well!
