Happy 4 U Card

I made this card to play along with the Heart2Heart Challenge this week using a sketch by Kristina Werner from the online card class I'm taking.   I was so inspired by all the wonderful items people were making with this color combo that I just had to play along before the challenge closed!  I am so close on time that I didn't even wait for the liquid glass to completely dry on my letters before I ran downstairs to take a quick photo.  Unfortunately, its much more noticeable in the photograph than when I looked with my naked eye - LOL - but, here it is!

Detail of the cute little tab tag at the top:

I love how you pulled those colors together. And how you stamped each of the starburst images twice in different colors to make them look like paper yo-yos. (At least that's what I'm thinking you did.). Looks great!

Thanks ladies for the sweet comments!

Vicki - yes, I used Barn Red and Sky Blue with first and second generation stamping for the yo-yos. I normally write up a quick explanation in my post but it was quite late when I posted last night.

Thanks for stopping by!

Wow, great card! I love how you combined B&T papers from different paper packs, and the row of double stitching is a really nice touch.

Love that you did something with this challenge that wasn't patriotic. Very pretty and great use of embellishments! Thanks for joining us at H2H!
