Penguin and Artbooking Card for Festive Friday Blog Hop

Welcome to our Festive Friday Blog Hop!  If you came here from Jamie's Blog you are on the right track!

This hop is devoted to sharing holiday themed Close to my Heart cards and projects with you for the next 6 months.  Any holiday is game for this hop so you can see everything from New Year's to Christmas and everything in between featured on this circular hop!  If you keep hopping through eventually you'll wind up back here but if there is a broken link or you get lost along the way, just come back here for the full listing at the bottom of this post.

My first month' entry features one of the adorable penguins from the new C1560 Wintry Wishes Hostess Rewards sets.  I loved the Artbooking overlay used on the catalog sample so I lifted that element and paired it up with our Frosted paper pack.  His sweet little scarf and hat are paper pieced.
This shot is all about the wonderful texture these overlays add to your artwork.  His skates shine with a bit of metallic silver marker!

Wintery Wishes Stamp Set (Hostess Rewards only so set up an online party with me to get this!)

Now hop on over to Mary Ellen's Blog to see what she's created!

Thanks for stopping by today my creative and crafty chicks!

Paige

Here is the blog hop list in case you need it!

So cute! I love your touch of Artbooking. This cartridge is going to be a HUGE seller. You have showcased yet another great way to use it. I never would have thought to use that as 'snow-balls'. Hope that was your intention because it looks so cute with the skating-bear!
