Queen for a Day Birthday Card with CTMH Royal Birth and Caboodle

This fun card was for a recent Stamp Camp.  I loved the effect of the Glitz on the crown - it color changed the Gyspy ink to create a funky, glittery purple and pink combo.  The sentiment "Queen for a Day" was highlighted with Liquid Glass to give it some umph and the gemstone head of the scepter was given the Glitz treatment too.  All in all a great b'day card for a female of any age!

Materials Used:
Paper:  Caboodle Level 2 (this is the reverse of one of the papers),   White Daisy CS
Stamps:  Royal Birth
Inks:  Gypsy, Crystal Blue
Other:  Glitz Glitter Gelsponge daubersliquid glass

Hey Chick card with CTMH Love Birds, Tiny Typewriter and Caboodle

I've been wanting to do a Hey Chick card for a while and really liked this one that I came up with for Stamp Camp.  I've combined two stamp sets to create the sentiment - it says "Hey Chick (from Tiny Typewriter) You're Somethin' Special (B1336 Somethin' Special).  The birds and background birdcages are from our Love Birds set.  The B&T (background and texture paper) is from Caboodle - another paper ruffle on this one - I love that technique for a mailable card!

Materials Used:
Paper:  Caboodle Level 2
Stamps:  Love Birds, Somethin' Special, Tiny Typewriter
Inks:  Sweet Leaf, Crystal Blue
Other:  Glitz, Watercolor Pencils

Paper:  Sweet Leaf CS, Boom Di Ada Creative Basics, Back Country Level 2
Stamps:  Fun Times (turtle), Make a Wish (belated b'day sentiment) and the stamp from the Caboodle WOTG kit
Inks:  New England Ivy
Other:  Glitz, Sponge Daubers, Olive ribbon from Target wedding

Thinking of You with Color Me Monday Challenge and CTMH Veranda Kit stamp, Gracious Greetings

I'm really enjoying the Color Me Monday challenges found on Jeanette Lynton's website!  This unusual combination made for a wonderful spring colored card!  The first photo doesn't show much of the Pearl paint I added to the edges of the card for some vintage softness.  This photo shows the shimmer much better:

I've used a tiny bit of Creme Brulee cardstock as "thread" inside the buttons.

Materials Used:
Paper:  Key Lime textured CS, Heavenly Blue textured CS, Creme Brulee CS, Holiday Creative Basics retired (Ponderosa Pine roses - I made these earlier as a test and decided to use them even though they weren't olive), Caboodle Level 2 (Heavenly Blue roses)
Stamps:  Veranda's Thinking of You from the Basic Kit, Gracious Greeting
Ink:  Olive
Other:  Pearl Paint, Spring Craft Buttons, Martha Stewart Butterfly punch, Martha Stewart Corner punch
