Faith, Hope, Love card with CTMH Grace Paper, Everyday Celebrations and Tickled Pink stamp sets

Sorry for the gap in posting artwork.  We've been on a celebration binge for the past couple of weeks - between summer vacation, my middle child turning 12 and my husband finding a job (YAY!!!!) we've been on a happy high note for the past several weeks!  After a year of watching every penny (thank goodness for COBRA and unemployment insurance) one of my customers (hi Tanya!) referred my husband to her husband for a resume hook up - a couple of rounds of interviews later and Mark is now working for a local company!

I've always said the biggest blessing of my business is making connections with wonderful women I probably wouldn't have met otherwise - this is just one more instance of the kindess and support I've received from all my wonderful friends and customers over the past couple of years.  My family always says I have the nicest friends ever and I just couldn't agree more!  I can't tell you how thrilled I am that we didn't have to move - not only do I hate the process, I just couldn't imagine moving away from all the friends I've made here and the fabulous medical care we get at Children's Hospital.

Anyways - now that I'm getting back into the swing of being the main parent on duty during the work day - I finally found some time to take pictures of THREE MONTHS worth of Stamp Camp projects!  These babies have just been crying out to be shared with the bigger world so I should be a much better blogger for the next couple of weeks!

Materials Used:
Stamps:  Everyday Celebrations (card kit special last year), I Am (from Tickled Pink special), The Simple Things (retired)
Other:  Sponge Dauber, Microtip Scissors (I only use ours for detailed cutting - they ROCK!)

Cheerful Masculine Window Birthday Card with CTMH Everyday Celebrations and the Cuttlebug

Here's a cheerful masculine birthday card I made the other day.  I attached the Moonstruck cardstock to the front of my card base and then punched through both layers to make a window.  Boy was that hard getting the punch to go through two layers - next time I'll use a Nestie instead!  Then I sent the front through the Cuttlebug with my Birthday folder....

...centered the cake stamp through the window and stamped.  Next I opened up the card and added the sentiments.  To finish it off I added a bit of liquid glass to the candle flames and the cake icing and (just because I am very fond of orange) added a ribbon to the front!

Materials Used:
Papers:  Moonstruck Cardstock, White Daisy Cardstock
Stamps:  Everday Celebrations Stamp (from a promotional kit we had last September)
Inks:  Clover Meadow, Moonstruck, Chocolate, Sunflower Marker
Other:  Liquid Glass, Orange Ribbon (Michael's Crafts), Provocraft Birthday Folder

CTMH Everyday Celebrations Stamp and CTMH Magic Moments Paper 6x6" Chipboard Accordian Album

Okay, so now that you've seen the awesome cards you can make with the Everyday Celebrations kit I'd like to show you just how versatile this set is by sharing a 6x6" chipboard accordian birthday album I made with the stamp set and some Magic Moments paper!

My daughter was invited to a friend's 13th birthday party today and she needed to find a gift that fit with her friend. Her friend isn't really into jewelry, video games, etc. so she was kind of at a loss on what to get until I suggested a personalized 6x6" chipboard accordian birthday party album so her friend can have a place to keep photos of her special day. Eliza thought this sounded great (especially as Mom already had all the items and I'm giving her the "family discount" on product - aka she didn't have to spend any of her babysitting money).

As with most personalized gifts, the best way to start is to think about the person and what you know they like. I asked Eliza what colors Tiana likes to wear and she said mostly green and brown - two patterns from Magic Moments sprang into mind. I then asked what other things she knew Tiana liked and Eliza said ladybugs and sheep. So out came the "Alphabet Solos K" set (two adorable lady bugs) and "A Birthday Wish" was added to the pile for the sweet sheep. After two hours of cutting, assembly and some extra stamping - here is the very cute and personalized gift her friend is receiving today!
