You'll need to order by 5/17 in order to get your materials in time for the class (follow this link to my online shopping area and join the May Orders party)

Chantilly Level 2 Paper ($9.95)
Chantilly Dimensional Elements ($4.95)
Pink Glitter Gems ($3.95) - optional add on
White Daisy CS (24 sheets / $9.50) optional add on then you'll only purchase the Key Lime, Buttercup and Outdoor Denim extra sheets through me).

Don't forget about our Dream Pop special when you order $35 - you get the Dream Pop paper pack for just $10.  At $50 you can get the fun pinwheel themed Stamp of the Month for just $5.  There is a Dream Pop workshop you can do as well with instructions from CTMH corporate to really crank through your summer scrapping.

During the class you can purchase directly from me the additional 13 sheets of cardstock (White Daisy, Key Lime, Buttercup and Outdoor Denim - total cost of $6.76) you'll need to finish the project.  This class does use the Artiste cartridge BUT I will have my Cricut Expression 2 and the cartridge available to help you cut or do it for you if you aren't a Cricut user or don't have the Artiste cartridge.  Feel free to bring your machine to the class if you want a bit of help getting up and running on cutting with your Cricut.

Inspired by the front cover of the new Idea Book.

Inspired by the new Idea Book art.

Inspired by a fellow CTMH consultant, Elizabeth Mindemann.

Inspired by a fellow CTMH consultant, Melissa Laverty.

Inspired by a fellow CTMH consultant, Laurie Varner

As you can see I heavily lifted from fellow CTMH consultants as well as CTMH corporate for this class - there were just so many beautiful projects created with this awesome versatile paper pack!  By combining the layouts I was able to use just about every scrap of the paper pack and every single Dimensional Element in the set!

When you arrive I'll give you the cutting guide and you can either work at your own pace or go through the guide with me one sheet of paper at a time.  I know we are going to have lots of fun putting these together!

Mother's Day and Thank You/Teacher Appreciation Card Class - Tuesday, 7th May from 7-9PM

Hello my beautiful friends -

Its been too long since I've had a card class and I MISS seeing all my dear paper crafting friends!  I finally forced myself to sit down and create a class just so I can get together with YOU!

With two big holidays next week, Mother’s Day and Teacher Appreciation, I wanted to sneak a class in this coming Tuesday night from 7-9PM so you can get your cards in the mail if you need to.  If you can't make it to the class but really want the cards for the coming week, you can order the cards pre-made and ready to mail then pick them up at your convenience next week from Tuesday on.

There are a total of 8 cards – 2 Mother’s Day, 1 Friendship, 2 “You’re the Best” and 3 general appreciation/thankyou cards.  I’ve used our beautiful new Chantilly papers and made sure we have a couple of guy cards as well in case you need to thank a man in your life.  All materials are pre-cut and pre-stamped for this one, perfect to bring along a friend who is new to papercrafting!  Just bring your adhesive (I have some for sale if you don’t have a dry runner adhesive) and your pop-dots and be ready for a fun night out!

Cost:       Class $15 or $10 with $25 CTMH order
$20 pre-made, ready to mail - pick up Tuesday, 7th or later

When:      Tuesday, 7th May so you can mail the cards if you need to!

Time:       7-9PM

RSVP:     by Sunday, 5th May, payment can be made at the class

Where:     Paige’s House on Steller Way

I'm looking forward to seeing you soon!

Hugs,

Paige

PS - Friday, 24th May will be a 2 page layout class - details coming soon!

Picture Frame Birthday Gift with CTMH Chantilly, Wonderland and Create a Critter Cartridge

This cutie patootie puppy frame is a gift for one of my kids to give to a friend for her birthday.  I love using the Michael's $1 picture frames and making them into something special as a keepsake of the party or the day.
Our Glitter paper was the perfect accent along with some pinks from the Chantilly paper pack.  The blue background is our long retired Wonderland paper.  I used Create a Critter to cut out the decorations for the frame.  This one got a resounding "awwwwww" from my daughter so I hope the girl this is meant for likes it as much!  I'll be pairing this up with the Chantilly cupcake card I made last week. for a nice gift set.

Hope you are having a fabulous weekend!  We are getting rain all weekend after a gorgeous sunny week.  My morning walk turned into quite a moist experience so I'm hoping the sunshine comes back again on Monday.  The joke out where we live is how do you know its a Monday?  Because the sun is out again.  Seriously, I don't know why but we get a whole lot of crappy weekends after beautiful work week weather - just so unfair to the kiddos!

Stay crafty my friends,

Paige

PS - I'm adding this one to the Heart2Heart Challenge "Button it Up" from last week.  Don't you love it when you use your stash, make something cute AND get to submit a new piece of art for a challenge site?

Bake Me a Cake Challenge at Heart2Heart Challenges

A couple of months ago the owner of the Heart2Heart Challenges blog, Ms. Haley D. herself, asked for suggestions for upcoming challenges.  One of the things I've learned about myself over the years is that I am an idea generator, so I promptly sent in a list.  I was excited to see that Haley picked up several of my ideas for upcoming challenges including this one that I've been WAITING for - Bake Me a Cake!  Make any kind of cake/cupcake themed project and step it up by adding baker's twine, get it?  Baker's twine - tee-hee!  Sorry, my family is full of punsters and I can't resist a good one!

Mmmm...almost good enough to eat!

I've been watching the emerging sequin trend and jumped on board with a package I found in my kids art supplies a couple of weeks ago.  I've been waiting for a project to use them on and this sweet treat called out for some shaped sequins (the flower topper) and pearls!  Don't you love the mini wooden clothes pins?  Did you know that you can dye them by sponging dye inks on them?  Love the look and I just had to add a bit of our Chocolate Baker's Twine tied in a double bow.

I made a CCR file of this project to share.  The base is two cupcake shapes (one cut on reverse).  I scored the back one at the top and adhered just that section to the decorated front of the card for opening.  Here's the file if you'd like to make this cutie patootie Art Philosophy card for yourself!

I hope you'll join us this week at Heart2Heart Challenges as we bake up some fun with our Cake/Cupcake themed challenge!

Strawberry Baskets / Egg Baskets with Free CCR File

Today's easy Easter project is an egg basket / strawberry basket that fit 2 per page including a double sided handle and flower decorations for the side panel of the basket!

Here's what they look like made up in Chantilly.  I've added an extra paper flower (more using up stash - love it!) to the Cricut cut flower shape.

I found the sweet little carrot chocolates at the store and thought they'd be perfect for these baskets!

Here is the CCR cut file link for this CTMH Artiste Cartridge project.  If you need to pick up one of these versatile cartridges, please visit my online shopping site at www.Paige.CTMH.com!

I hope you were able to get some Easter crafting done this year!
