Valentine's Day Countdown Day #1 Blog Hop

Welcome to the 2nd Annual Valentine's Day Countdown!

This year we will be having a DAILY linky party showcasing cards and projects to inspire your creative mojo for the big day of love!  Every day from now until February 14th we will have NEW artwork featuring Close to my Heart products created by consultants from all over the United States and Canada!  All consultants will be using thumbnail pictures which link directly to their blogs so you can stop by and visit with all the participants.

I can't wait to see all the wonderful artwork my fellow creative CTMH "sisters" have made!  Remember to visit us DAILY for new artwork and inspiration!

I've been wanting to try my hand at making a heart shaped basket with my Nestabilities for a while and finally had the chance to make one last night.  I don't know why I waited so long - this was easy, easy, easy!

I simply die-cut four shapes (two pink and two black hearts) and then used a strip of cardstock and scored the sides to adhere to each black heart back.  I added a cardstock handle and *poof* I was done!  I used one of the damask shapes from the Friendship set to stamp tone-on-tone and added the sentiment with black embossing powder.  I'll be making some more of these to match my kids personalities and hang them on their door knobs on Valentine's Day. (shhhh....don't tell!)

Materials Used:
Other:  Black embossing powder, Heart shaped Nestabilities
