CTMH Altered 9x9 Chipboard Album and matching CTMH Memory Keeper Box with CTMH Silhouette Paper and Simply Snapshots Gift for Graduation

I made this set at my MIL's request for her to give to a co-worker who is graduating from college. I really like the way it turned out!

I've used our terrific Memory Keeper 9x9 box which comes as a flat packed box that you pop up and push the front in to make a box. The best features of this are: its White Daisy so it takes ink true to color, the front lip has a nice strong magnetic closure across the entire front, you can choose not to permanently adhere it together if you want a seasonal box or birthday box to fold flat after the celebration, it perfectly fits our 9x9 chipboard accordian album and the price is right at just $6.95!

Here I've used our Silhouette Level 2 paper pack for the exterior of the box - very classy don't you think?

I've embossed the front in our Silver embossing powder which is a nice bright metallic against the black paper. I also like our Silver Pearl which is a much softer pearly silver but this one seemed the right fit for this box.

This shows how it looks with the 9x9 chipboard album inside. You can also paper the interior of the box.
Here is the album side by side with the Memory Keeper box. The 3-d embellishments are from Target. Now, I usually am pretty darn exclusive to CTMH products because I love the color coordination but I found these 3-d embellishments in the dollar section at Target, they pretty much matched the classic colors of Silhouette and to be frank, I was in the middle of a really busy time so I was trying to finish this off and ship it out very quickly.

You can't get much easier than using Simply Snapshots for the interior of the album! These are sized at 9x9 already so all you have to do is adhere them to the accordian pages and you are done! I like to put them both horizontally and vertically so people can use all the pictures from an event.

Here is the back side of the album showing the two covers. The back page is a treasure pocket with one of the Simply Snapshots cut in half and the tops embellished for pull-out cards.
The entire thing went together in one morning so it was a quickie but very nice project! If you use other cardstock for the tags in the treasure pocket you can get two of these albums out of one package of Simply Snapshots and one Level 2 paper pack!

Materials used:
Stamps: You Did It, Chocolate Alphabet Large (name on front), Friendship Alphabet (for numbers - this was a special a couple of months ago), Key to my Heart (large corner swirls on the box - this set was a special a couple of months ago)
Other: Silver Embossing Powder, Memory Keeper Box, 9x9 Chipboard Accordian Album, Target Graduation 3-d embellishments
